Membership Agreement

This Membership Agreement is between the Global Gambling Harm Reduction Alliance (GGHRA) and the individual or organisation (the "Member") applying for membership.

Members join at one of four tiers, each with defined benefits and responsibilities:

• Supporter: supports the alliance mission, receives a supporter badge, and gains access to public research and events.
• Member: receives all Supporter benefits plus access to member-only research, events, and collaborative projects.
• Research Partner: receives all Member benefits plus the ability to publish research, a dedicated research space, and priority collaboration access.
• Founding Member: guides the alliance, approves initiatives, and shapes the global agenda.

Members agree to:

• Provide accurate information during registration and keep it current.
• Engage respectfully and constructively with other members.
• Respect intellectual property rights when accessing or sharing research and project content.
• Use the credibility badge only while membership is active and at the correct tier.
• Not use the platform to promote commercial gambling activities.

GGHRA agrees to:

• Provide platform access consistent with the member's chosen tier.
• Maintain and improve platform features, research tools, and collaboration infrastructure.
• Review membership applications and verification requests in a timely manner.
• Protect member data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Membership fees are billed monthly in AUD via Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Members may upgrade or downgrade their tier at any time, with changes taking effect in the next billing cycle.

Organisations may apply for verified status. Verification involves review of the organisation's website, contact details, and alignment with the alliance mission. Verified organisations receive the GGHRA credibility badge and are listed in the public directory.

Either party may terminate membership at any time. GGHRA may terminate membership for violations of the Terms of Service or this Agreement. Upon termination, the member's credibility badge and platform access are revoked. Content contributed to public research or projects may remain on the platform.

GGHRA may amend this Agreement with 30 days notice. Continued membership after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
