Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Global Gambling Harm Reduction Alliance (GGHRA) platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not access or use the platform.

You must be at least 18 years of age to register for an account or participate in alliance activities. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

GGHRA offers multiple membership tiers: Supporter, Member, Research Partner, and Founding Member. Each tier has distinct benefits and associated monthly fees billed in AUD via Stripe.

• Membership fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable except where required by law.
• You may cancel your membership at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• GGHRA reserves the right to adjust fees with at least 30 days notice.

You agree not to use the platform to:

• Upload or share content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property rights.
• Harass, discriminate against, or harm other members or platform users.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to platform systems or data.
• Use the platform for commercial gambling promotion or activities that conflict with the alliance's harm-reduction mission.

Research submissions, project content, and other materials you upload remain your intellectual property. By submitting content, you grant GGHRA a non-exclusive licence to display and distribute it within the platform for alliance purposes.

Plagiarism or misrepresentation of authorship is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.

Organisations may apply for verified status. GGHRA reviews verification applications and reserves the right to approve, reject, or revoke verification at its discretion. The GGHRA credibility badge must not be used by unverified or non-member organisations.

GGHRA may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting the alliance. Upon termination, your access to member-only content and features ceases immediately.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. GGHRA does not guarantee the accuracy of research, project, or event content published by members. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GGHRA is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

GGHRA may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to members via email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
